NC-AOCR - North Carolina Association of Official Court Reporters

The North Carolina Association of Official Court Reporters is an organization consisting of court reporters who are joined together with the common purpose of ensuring a proper record is made of proceedings and ensuring efficiency and justice in our courts across the State of North Carolina. We educate judges, attorneys, and other stakeholders on the importance of certified court reporters and how to make a proper record that can be well-preserved for later review. With the help of our lobbyist, we are able to tackle legislative issues regarding our profession. We also provide assistance to our court reporter membership in the areas of improvement of their reporting skill, maintaining a proper standard of ethics, and compensation.

If you’re a current member of NC-AOCR, we thank you for making your profession, the North Carolina Officialship Program, and justice for litigants in the State of North Carolina a priority!

If you’re not currently a member,we would strongly encourage you to join. For the cost of two lattes a month, you can greatly help us advocate for court reporters across the State, improve your court reporting skill, and help us navigate new issues that are affecting the administration of justice in our North Carolina Courts.

If you’re a judge, attorney, or other stakeholder in the North Carolina Court System, thank you for visiting! If you have any comments or suggestions, we would love to hear from you! Send us a message below using the Contact NC-AOCR form.
